Loading ...FTP Cannot See Shared Files in Network?
My DSL crashed the other day and I had to disconnect my network and use a dialup until my DSL is backup. When I connected back my network (I have 4 PCs and 2 laptops with wireless connection in the network), my FTP software cannot find my shared files anymore. I can access my data files and internet through my network but WS FTP cannot see my shared folder. Can anyone help?
Thanks for your suggestion. I tried pinging it and I was able to ping it. So it must be some other reason

My guess is that your IP scheme might have changed? You don’t say if you were using static IP’s or DHCP and what might have been giving out IP’s but if it was the DSL router, did you disconnect it? Try pinging the IP that you used to connect to for the FTP. If you can ping then it’s a probably a port/security issue.
