FTP (File Transfer Protocol)
HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol) (or maybe not )
in http u see those interfaces and text and images lined up in tables and so on
ftp is just plain files
http use links and u can save their targets
but if u r gonna use just plain files and u just get in and take the file u should use ftp why?
It’s more flexible..It’s like u r browsing ur files u can copy/paste the files anywhere quickly with the same way u would if u copy files from My Documents to Desktop
and choose multiple files and……etc
It’s just that u r browsing files with ur explorer (not internet explorer but folder explorer)
its problem is that u need to know where to go…as u will see no text that tells u “If u want X click here”
many people use folder names as long sentences to guide u as they are the only text u can see..
no clue

FTP is used to transfer files. For example: I can create a HTML file and use FTP to upload it to my web server.
