I got an account from dyndns.org and got XXXXXXXXXXX.dyndns.org (domain). I have no idea how to set up web server. I used apache and tried ftp server but when i type in XXXXXXXXXX.dyndns.org it will take me to the router log in page. How can i make it go to my computers server?
I port forwarded the ports on the router 21(ftp) and 80 for http server and tried without forward but still no luck and tried others.

I have this dead.letter in my shared hosted account that keeps growining in size and it reappears after deleting.

What is it and how to get rig of it?

I delete the file, but it pops up back again and keeps growing with a bunch of spam messages inside.

Do you think this is a problem with the Hosting server?

I cant login to my site using SmartFTP (which works for every other site I have). I just dont know how to login for a Geocities Plus acct… like what login do I need to use, what address do I need to use? my geocities URL is http://www.geocities.com/danneel_harris_fans OR http://www.danneel-harris-fans.com ………… so pleeeeeeeeease tell me what you would do. Hi. My web developer is trying to upload my site to my account hosted by Yahoo! and is asking for FTP host name, user name and password. What do I do?

I have been given passwords and a user name for a club website. I belong to the club. I have been told i can upload/download files via your FTP account – enter required details in your FTP program as follows.

Do I need special software, or should I be able to to add information to the site?

Please can anyone help?
