i know how to do it on mac but how to do it on pc??

on a mac u connect to my teachers server by just going to “go” then “connect to server” then i type in the ip address. how do I do that on a pc?? :note i tied http:// it and ftp:// on windows browser but wont let me in. what do i do?
never mind he made it to where it doesn’t let any other ip address access it accept the school ip address

What is Homestead’s FTP address?

I am trying to set up a third party website editor to use on my website hosted by Homestead, but I need to know that my FTP address will be. Also if anyone knows of any really really easy WYSIWYG web editor program, that someone with very little knowledge can use, please post it.

how can I get my ip adress from my router remotely?

I’ve got a NetGear MR814 router and I’m looking to query it to get my ip address from my provider without going into the router software. Does this make sense? I need it to remotely connect to my system. If I can get the IP, I can ftp it to myself elsewhere. Any help would be appreciated!
