Need help uploading with Frontpage?

I got a domain and hosting from godaddy for something I’m starting, made a simple site with Microsoft Frontpage but can’t upload it. I went to publish web and typed in the ftp://domain name and it uploaded but something went wrong. When you go to the site it says, “If you are the owner you incorrectly uploaded your site, click here for ftp help”. I just want to get this site uploaded right I don’t know what to do now.

How to make Yahoo authoritive so I can change nameservers?

I’m trying to take a domain I have and move it over to yahoo so that I can use Yahoo site builder. They people who can do this say it can’t be done because the nameserves are not authoritive. What does that mean?

Hi Peter,

No, this information is only for changing nameservers, there should be an ip somewhere you can use to upload stuff (by FTP) to the package on one of the servers of Yahoo. If there isn’t any IP available, maybe yahoo-support can help you out with this case?
(the nameservers of yahoo should be authoritative for boatclub.nl before i can change the nameservers, that’s why).

Kind regards,

How do I alias an IP address for internal access of an FTP site?

We have an ftp site that can be accessed from the public Internet by typing ftp://ftp.mycompany.com but to access the site from within the domain we have to type the ip address of the server ftp://177.123.123.23. How do I make it so internal users can type the ftp.mycompany.com to get to the site instead of the IP address?
