Firefox HTML Editor?

I have Firefox 2.0 and have downloaded FireFTP (an FTP software) that is integrated into Firefox. I have looked everywhere for an HTML editor that is integrated into Firefox so I could write, transfer and then view all in the same software. Does this kind of add-on exist?

My explorer will not go to login on any ftp site. It always logs on anonamously.?

If I type in ftp.(site).com it will find the site but show it as if I am anonamous. This does not allow for the right click menu with the login in as… option. I can not find a place to change this setting. It worked at one time. I have also downloaded Explorer 7.0 and this did not make any difference. Does anyone know what I can set to change this. I really need to get onto several websites. Using another ftp software is not an answer since I need the login capability of Internet Explorer.

Can anyone recommed good ftp software for the pc?

I have heard filezilla is good what do you think?

I have a yahoo account. Is there FTP space available to me? How would I use it?

I have used the Smart FTP software before. What I would like to do is transfer large numbers of large photo files to family members across the country. Is secure FTP space available for free on Yahoo? I really only need to use the space for a short term. I would also be interested in knowing about longer term solutions, but short term is my first priority.

Why is it that I can upload a website by going to ftp.website.com but then I can’t use my ftp program for it?

Scenario 1: I upload my files to a website using ftp.anysite.com by clicking and dragging from windows explorer. But I can’t use my ftp software to upload.

Scenario 2: I upload my files to a website by using my ftp software, but there’s no way to go to that ftp site online.

What is the difference between the two websites and why will they only let you upload to the server by that one method?

Is that something set by the host company?
