have a use 4039 printer hooked up to linksys router manually gave the printer an ip on my subnet (192.168.0.146) try to setup printer in xp for tcip port for printing no go can ftp the ip of printer and ping but no print

i host an ftp server and have someone from australia trying to connect to it. i told him my ip and a username and password to log in with but it still doesnt work. why? what else do i need to do?
the error message says:

Windows cannot access this folder. Make sure you typed the file name correctly and have permission to access this folder. Details: the connection with the server was reset.

Other people can access my ftp site with no problems.
and yes i really am Zezima from runescape

I’m not sure why but no one can access it now. What is the matter with it??? The software Im using is WinFtp server
