Touches this the letter i got from support I am totaly confused I hope I am in the right fourm Because I really am in need of some answers, also so I need to purchase a another program in order to do what they are explaing…Please help I need all I can get…Thanks in Advance

I’ve had our webmaster complete your links.html page. You can see their is a text link to it on your tour1.html when you go to your site.

This is the only page you need to modify and copy and paste your code.

You may login via ftp to download this file. Once you download the file (it’s in the public_html) you can open it with your html editor.
Then you can make changes to it by copying the code and pasting it into the code portion of the page
I am not a computer wizard this is why I have asked this question and need help

While trying to get files from one laptop onto another, I am now having trouble with the OTHER laptop (mini-crashes)….which brings to mind how much, both for personal and business reasons, I want to be able to DAILY backup my hard drive. I spent a lot of money for external hard drive, but copying it takes forever!!! And I question if a RAID drive is the way to go, because I THINK both drives could simultaneously crash or get virus-infected. Somewhere here online someone mentioned backing up via FTP….how does this work? how complicated? how expensive? how time-consuming?
PS Can’t fit all my docs/photos onto a CD and don’t have DVD burner; not sure if all would fit anyway!

What is the bst Personal FTP Server product out there that is also optimally priced?

I have a bunch of servers that I never had problems with accessing directly via Internet Explorer… Just recently something has happend and I cannot connect to ANY TYPE of FTP. My accounts are hosted with Gate.com and godaddy.com.. my website is www.rosettiworld.com When I attempt to directly access the ftp just through the browser, it doesn’t even dialog for password… it goes directly to error “Windows Cannot Access This Folder. Make sure you typed the file name correctly and that you have permission to access the folder. Details: A connection with the server could not be established” I need to fix this so that I can view / access my files again..

Hi, I want to know how to setup a Personal FTP Server at my home so that i can access my files on my computer by logging in from a remote location through a FTP program. I am having a DialUp Connection…. The IP address keeps on changing is there a way to uknow to have a Free DNS for my changing IP? i.e. whenever my IP changes the DNS should get notified Automatically.. and i should be able to log into my account without any problem….
