how to figure out my ftp url?
i’ve downloaded Smart Ftp, and im using www.bravenet.com as my web host.
lets say my site (under construction)
was
http:/mydomain.bravehost.com
and i want to upload files and folders to my site,
what do i type in
smart ftp, in the url/adress column?
this is te error i got :
[23:40:23] A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
I have a yahoo account. Is there FTP space available to me? How would I use it?
I have used the Smart FTP software before. What I would like to do is transfer large numbers of large photo files to family members across the country. Is secure FTP space available for free on Yahoo? I really only need to use the space for a short term. I would also be interested in knowing about longer term solutions, but short term is my first priority.

How do i use FTP to transfer files?
How do I use FTP to transfer files? I have Smart FTP Client and Ace FTP 3. I want to be able to send Power Point Presentations that I have made that are too large to send through E-Mail.
