Problems with internet explorer FTP?
I can ftp to my home computer with no problem using a third party software, but when try to ftp using my web browser I can see the files but when I try to open them I get page not found screen. Is there a way to fix this?

How do I use my .htaccess file to restrict access to my FTP? (see details)?
Example: A common hacker enters ftp://www.myexamplesite.com/ into their web browser and is allowed limited access into my ftp. How do i deny access to random internet hackers? I am perfectly fine with only allowing access using a FTP program and password and having no direct internet browser access.

How do I find an FTP host that allows me to upload via FTP and allows others to download via http or ftp?
Would like to use an FTP client to upload with. Others would be able to download the files by going to an http site and using their web browser, or if they prefer, using an FTP client. What hosting service offers this as an easy setup?
