Why can’t I view my DMZ website from inside my network??
My company has set up a Web/FTP server in a DMZ. The DMZ is set up via a Cisco PIX and Router, and the server is running Windows 2000 Server.
The server is running fine and is accessible to the world… unless you are on the internal network. When trying to view either the Web or FTP site they fail to load. “The page cannot be displayed”
I’m sure it’s a DNS thing, but everything I’ve tried doesn’t work. I’m open to suggestions.
problems with web server….?
i set up a web server using Fastream IQ Web/FTP Server. it was easy to set up and use. FAR EASIER THAN APACHE!!!! and GUI was plain darn right simple.
my thing is that i could only access it from persons who have DSL [ we have one DSL provider here in the bahamas, and one cable provider also]
if i try to access it from persons using Cable internet. i cant get the page to come up. im using the standard port 80, and after trying it by a neighbor [ who also has DSL], i got through so i didnt bother to change the port.
what can be causing this. do i need to change the port. im using a WRT54G version 6 router by Linksys, and i have Windows firewall turned off. I have the router set to forward throught port 80, and like i said above i have dsl.
really need some help.
i dont get that? is that some sor tof trace routing…..
